VITEEE 2021 – The VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE 2021) will be held in the second or third week of April 2021 at Vellore Institute of Technology. Eligibility Criteria for VITEEE 2021
Nationality
- The applicant must be an Indian national who is either a resident or a non-resident.
- Foreign candidates who have studied or are studying in another country may apply directly under the foreign category.
Age Limit
- Candidates born on or after July 1, 1999 are eligible to apply for the UG Engineering Admission (UGEA) 2021. The date of birth on the High School / SSC / X Certificate shall be accepted as genuine.
- Candidates must present this certificate in its original form as proof of age at the time of counselling or admission, or they will be disqualified.
Qualifying Exam
- Candidates enrolling for UG Engineering admission must have passed or be scheduled to take one of the following qualifying examinations in 2021:
- The State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), and the Council for Indian School Certificate Exam (ISCE), New Delhi, administered the final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Exam.
Intermediate
- Geneva General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level, Cambridge University High School Certificate Exam or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level

Eligibility Criteria for the Qualifying Exam
- Candidates applying for Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2021 must have scored a minimum of 60% on the qualifying test (+2/Intermediate) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
- For the following disciplines, the average marks received in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) should be a minimum aggregate of 50%.

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT 2021
- Candidates must have completed the 12th examination of the 10+2 system from a recognised Central or State board or its equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics, as well as have appropriate English proficiency.
- Candidate must have received a minimum of 75 percent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (if he/she took Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of 75 percent in all disciplines.
- In the 12th class examination, the candidate must have received a minimum of aggregate 75 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) with at least 60 percent marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Only students who are taking or have passed their 12th grade exams in 2021 are eligible to take the BITSAT-2021 test.
Students who completed their 12th grade in 2019 or earlier are not eligible to take the BITSAT 2021 exam. Students who are currently enrolled at one of BITS’ campuses are ineligible to take the BITSAT-2021.
- Regardless of their BITSAT 2021 score as per the eligibility criteria, first-place students from all central and state boards in India for the year 2021 are eligible for direct admission to the programme of their choosing.
BITSAT 2021 Application Process
Candidates who are interested in participating in BITSAT-2021 should apply online using the required application form.
The candidate must fill out an application form and pay the required costs online at http://www.bitsadmission.com. Take a printout of the completed form as well for future reference.

- Step 1: Read all the instructions
- Step 2: Candidates need to register by entering: Name, Date of birth, Gender, Nationality, Mobile number, email id.
- Step 3: After this, the candidate gets a registration number. User Id and password is send via sms as well.

BITSAT 2021 Admit Card
The BITSAT Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website. The admit card includes information such as the candidate’s name, photograph, and signature, as well as the application number, test centre information, test date, test time, exam day, test slot, and exam instructions. Only those candidates who book their slots before the deadline will receive a BITSAT 2021 admit card.
Students must need their BITSAT Application Number, Date of Birth, and Email ID to download their BITSAT Admit Card 2021. The application period for JEE Main 2021 begins on February 22, 2021. JEE Main is an engineering entrance exam for admission to India’s top engineering colleges, such as NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and State Engineering Colleges. Examination Fee
- For Male / Transgender Candidates of General/ OBC Category – Rs. 1300/-
- For SC/ST Category/Female/PH Candidates of All the category – Rs. 650/-
Exam Details
- Except for the Drawing Aptitude test, UPSEE-2021 will be held using objective multiple choice questions (Part B of Paper 3).
- Candidates must select papers and subjects in order to sit for the entrance exam.
- Only OMR-based tests will be used for all papers.
