Steps to be followed for APICET counselling 2021
In order to attend the web-based AP ICET 2021 counselling, here are the steps to be followed:
Step 1: Visit the official website of AP ICET, apicet.nic.in.
Step 2: Candidates are required to register and pay the ICET counselling fee online.
Step 3: Attend certificate verification at HLC centres mentioned in the annexure.
Step 4: Next, one needs to register themselves and login for option entry.
Step 5: Candidates must print the saved options and print the allotment order.
Step 6: After their acceptance, candidates must report to their respective colleges.

a) The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local / non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh State Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date.
b) The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.
c) The candidates seeking admission
i) For MBA: Should have passed recognised Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC,ST reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.
ii) For MCA: Should have passed recognised Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC,ST reserved categories) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics or one of the subjects at 10+2 level.
d) The qualifying Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC.
e) The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for APICET – 2021
f) Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.
g) Qualifying marks in APICET is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates
Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to find admission into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:
i) Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers
ii) Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part- time\evening\distance mode)
iii) Satisfies all the eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned

APICET Paper Pattern
The test is designed to measure the candidate’s ability to think systematically, to use the verbal and mathematical skills and to assess his/her aptitude for admission into MBA/MCA programme. The Test emphasises accuracy. Therefore, the candidate is required to go through the instructions carefully.
In the exam, 200 numbers of questions were asked and the paper time was 150 minutes. The exam is state level exam and it is conducted on 30 different examinations centres. The AP ICET exam various government and private colleges are provided admission. For the exam, applicants should have completed 3 years bachelor degree with minimum 50% marks in mathematics and relevant subjects. The test consists of 200 questions of one mark each in the following topics.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket
Candidate Admit card download from university website.
The candidate should verify all the information in the admit card. If any issue is found, then get it corrected with the concerned authority.
The candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without it, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. It is also very important to document for the further admission processes.
Cutoff
APICET 2021 Cutoff will be released by the officials after the test is over. The APICET Cutoff will determine the admission of a candidate who appeared in the test. Students can check all the details about the cutoff in the article.
APICET will be conducted In the month of May 2021 in paper-pencil based mode. It is likely that around 70,000 candidates will appear in the test. The cutoff is based on factors like difficulty level, the number of candidates, total marks etc. Based on last year’s trend, it is likely that this year the APICET Cutoff will be 50.
Results
The result will be announced on the official website of APICET.
Qualifying Marks for APICET: The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% (i.e. 50 marks out of total 200 marks). However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes,no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed.
Ranking: Candidates will be given State-wide ranks in the order of merit at the APICET 2021.
For the preparation of merit list, in case more than one student scores the same marks at APICET, the tie will be resolved as follows:
1. By considering the marks scored in Section-A
2. If the tie persists, marks obtained by a student in Section-B will be taken into consideration.
3. If the tie still persists, the tie will be resolved by taking into account the age of the candidate giving the older candidate Priority.

Karnataka PGCET 2021 Notification, Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility Criteria & Brochure
The Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Karnataka PGCET) is being conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility / merit, for admission of Karnataka and non-Karnataka candidates for 1st year / 1st-semester full time / part time MBA / MCA / M.E. / M. Tech. / M. Arch courses and Admission to the Part Time M.Tech Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) and for admission to 2nd year Lateral Entry to MCA Course in Government / University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided professional educational institutions in the state of Karnataka which will be notified by the Government of Karnataka for the academic year.
Admissions to the Government seats shall be made in accordance with the Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) and the Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Master of Technology (M.Tech) Courses.

Eligibility Criteria
For Full Time MBA courses:
– A candidate who has passed Recognised Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects including languages in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for
admission to MBA courses. (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates) (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates)
For Part Time MBA courses:
A candidate who has passed recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects including languages in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MBA courses (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates). (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates) In addition to this, a candidate after obtaining the degree must have worked for not less than three years as on 31st July 2021, in an establishment and must be working in an organisation situated within a radial distance of 40 km from the institution in which the candidate seeks admission.
For MCA
A candidate who has passed any recognized under graduate examination or equivalent examination with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Applications or Computer Programming or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MCA courses. 45% of marks in Q. E. in the case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates.
Provided that in respect of candidate who has studied and passed one of the subjects specified above in Pre-University Course with fifty percent of marks in that subject shall also be considered for admission. 45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates.
Lateral Entry to 2nd year MCA
A candidate who has passed recognised Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination in BCA, B.Sc (I.T. / Computer Science) with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or at Graduate Level and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MCA courses (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates) (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates)
For Full Time M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch – Course
– A candidate with valid GATE score.
– A candidate who has passed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects of all the years / semesters of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to M.E. /
M.Tech / M.Arch courses (45% of marks in Q. E. in the case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates.
(Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates)
For Part Time M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch courses:
– A candidate who has passed prescribed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects of all the years / semesters of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch courses (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I Karnataka candidates) (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates)
Admission to the Part Time M.Tech Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) shall be open to regular faculty working in institutions in Karnataka state.
i) Who have passed B.E. / B.Tech Examination (in relevant field) of VTU or any other recognised University / Institution and have passed the qualifying examination in second class (50% aggregate) (No relaxation in minimum percentage will be given for these admissions)
ii)Having experience of one academic year, and
iii) The working place shall be within 100 km from the institutions where they seek admission.
– Not only a Candidate who has passed the qualifying examination with requisite marks but also a candidate who is appearing for the Q. E. and expecting the results is eligible to apply for the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test.

Reservation Criteria
Reservation is made in favour of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes of citizens under categories 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B in accordance with Government Order No. SWL 251 BCA 94 dated 31st January 1995, as amended from time to time.
Production of a “Caste Certificate / Caste Income Certificate” issued by the concerned Jurisdictional Tahasildar in accordance with the Government order No. Sa Ka E 225 BCA 2002 dated 30th March 2002, as amended from time to time
Form ‘D’ in case of Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes
Form ‘E’ in case of Category-I;
Form ‘F’ in the case of Other Backward Classes like 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B in support of the claim is mandatory for selecting a seat under reserved category.
The SC, ST and Category-1 candidates are exempted from paying tuition fees, as prescribed in Vide GO No if their annual income is less than Rs.2.5 lakhs, Please read the relevant Government orders for details.
How to Apply
– Candidates have to enter the application details through online to become eligible for admission to Professional Courses through Karnataka Examinations Authority.
– There is no pen and paper form.
– The entire online application process is in two phases. In the first phase, candidates will fill the details and can edit the data any number of times and also can take the draft printouts before selecting the declaration. Before commencing the second phase, candidates can edit / delete / add any information any number of times.
– In the second phase, the candidates have to select the declaration after confirming themselves that there are no changes to be incorporated or all the entries made by them in the online application are correct.
– Once the declaration is done there is no provision to change / edit / delete / add any information to the entries already made by the candidates.
– After declaration, candidates have to select the specified banks from the list and download the challan for making the payment at the respective bank.
– After completion of all the process, the candidates are required to take a final printout of the online application form for further process at the time of online seat allotment.
Method of Applying:
Before applying online, a candidate should have scanned images of his / her latest Photograph, Signature and Left Hand Thumb Impression in JPG format only, for uploading as part of the submission of online application.
Before entering the application form online, the candidates are advised to download the blank application form and take two or three photocopies of the same and practice on them in a prescribed manner.
PLEASE NOTE: The finally submitted application details through online by the candidates will be the candidate’s data for all further processing in the KEA computers. Therefore, the candidates are advised not to make any mistakes while making entries in the form and not to upload any documents / papers in support of their claims to the filled application form except Photograph, Signature and Left Hand Thumb Impression.
First Phase:
Step 1: Candidates are required to select “PGCET-2021 Online Application” by browsing URL on Website http://kea.kar.nic.in.
Step 2: Candidates have to click on “New User? Click Here to Register” on the home page of online application form. Candidates will have to provide all the required information in the candidate registration form and submit. After successful registration, candidates will receive an Application number and User-ID to their registered mobile phone number and email-id and also same will be displayed on the screen.
Step 3: A Login Prompt will be displayed and candidates are required to enter the User ID and Password created by them and Login.
Step 4: On successful login by the candidates “Student information” will be displayed, in which the candidates have to start entering the required information.
Step 5: Once the candidates complete the student information entries, they will have to save the entries made.
Step 6: The candidates will enter the all the study details and select “save and next” button.
Step 7: After successful saving the study details, the candidates will have to upload the scanned images of Photograph, candidate signature, candidate Left Hand Thumb Impression and Parent Signature and select “save and next” button.
After completion of the above steps, the candidates have to take the draft printouts, carefully verify the entries made by them and if any changes are required they can do so by login in any number of times before selecting the declaration.
Second Phase:
In this phase, the candidate will select the declaration, read and understand it completely and then select “Submit” button. After submission select the bank challan, download and take a printout of the challan and make the payment in the respective bank.
Step 1: After completion of entry of all the details candidate’s will receive an application ID and Password to their registered email address and also the same information will be displayed on the screen.
Step 2: Candidates have to upload the scanned copy of recent passport size Colour Photograph and Signature in JPG / JPEG format separately. (Photograph Captured on the mobile phone can also be updated)
Step 3: Candidates have to take the printout of the Challan copy which is in triplicate. Candidates of Karnataka origin have to pay an amount of Rs. 650/- for General and OBC (Rs.500/- for SC / ST Category-1). The candidates have to pay the requisite fee in any of the branches of specified banks. The bank will retain bank copy of the Challan respectively and handover the remaining two copies of the Challan to the candidates.
Step 4: Candidates have to take the printout of the application form on A-4 Size sheet of paper.
Affix candidate’s recent Passport size Photograph, signature, Left Hand Thumb Impression on the space provided. Afterwards, students have to obtain Principal seal and signature from the college where they have studied Final Year Diploma in the space provided in the printed form. The same copy should be produced during document verification along with the copy of the Challan (KEA copy).
IF ANY OF THE INFORMATION FURNISHED IN THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM IS FOUND TO BE FALSE / INCORRECT, THE APPLICATION IS LIABLE TO BE REJECTED AT ANY POINT OF TIME and the seat selected by the candidate, if any, is also liable to be cancelled at any stage and the entire fee amount paid by such candidate shall be forfeited.

karnataka PGCET For MBA
The PGCET 2021 will be held in one session separately for MBA, conducted for 100 marks with 150 minutes duration.
– Each question paper will be (Objective) Multiple Choice type.
– The question paper will be in different versions.
– Each question will have four different options.
– Each question will carry ONE mark.
For MCA
The PGCET 2021 will be held in one session separately for MCA courses conducted for 100 marks with 150 minutes duration.
– Each question paper will be (Objective) Multiple Choice type.
– The question paper will be in different versions.
– Each question will have four different options.
60 questions in Part – A carry one mark each.
20 questions in Part – B carry two marks each.
Thus there will be 80 questions and a total mark is 100.
For ME/M.Tech/M.Arch
The PGCET 2021 will be held in two sessions separately for Type – A and Type-B of ME /M.Tech / M.Arch. courses conducted 100 marks with 150 minutes duration.

Admit Card
– Candidates must download Admit Cards from November 2021 and print them on an A4 size paper.
– Candidates who have applied on the basis of their GATE scores will not need to download any admit card as they are exempt from the entrance test.
– Candidates must take a printout of the Karnataka PGCET 2021 Admit Card to the exam hall
– They must safe keep the Admit Card to be furnished during counselling
Cutoff
Candidates have who score more than cut off Marks would feature in the merit list. Candidates names included in the merit list will be called for counselling rounds. Candidates can check previous years cut off marks to get an idea of Cut off for the current year as cut off will be declared after the declaration of Result.
Results
– Candidates can check Karnataka PGCET Entrance exam result on official website.
– As per the merit determined by the KEA, ranks will be assigned separately ME / M. Tech / M. Arch courses as per the norms and procedure to the eligible candidates. Result sheets will be published on KEA Website. The correct Answer Keys will also be published along with the results.
Counselling
The Karnataka PGCET counselling process includes document verification, option entry, publishing of seat matrix, selection, seat allotment, fee payment and reporting to allotted college. Through counselling, the eligible candidates will be granted admission to various management courses at colleges and management Institutes of the Karnataka State.
