Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common written test for the admission processes of undergraduate institutes of Symbiosis International University established as under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 vide notification No.F.9.12/2001 U.3 of the Govt. of India. In the year 2002 there were 3 constituent institutes, subsequently ten more Institutes of Symbiosis have been brought under the ambit of Symbiosis International University vide notification No.F.9.12/2006-U.3 (A).It is a mandatory written test for the admission process for the undergraduate programmes of the following Symbiosis institutes.

However SET is not mandatory for the Symbiosis instititute of Technology (SIT) and Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS). Note: Candidates those who are applying to Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) and Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) should visit their website for further details. SET is only the first step. Each Symbiosis institute has its independent selection process. The test will be conducted in two sessions, Morning and Afternoon. A Candidate may take more than one paper. However he may choose one paper from morning session and one paper from afternoon session.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria depends upon the course and institute you wish to apply. For engineering, health sciences, law design and other courses the conditions for eligibilty shall differ General eligibility conditions for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2020 shall be as follows:

  • The candidate must have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates)
    Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission

How to Apply

You may apply online for admission to an undergraduate Institute of the University; the application fee is Rs.1000/- per Institute except for SICSR (The application fee for SICSR is Rs.1000/- for one programme and Rs.2000/- for two programmes)

There are two options to apply for admission to an Institute:

  1. From SET websiteWhile paying SET fees online, a candidate may also pay the application fee for admission to a desired Institute. Even after closing of the payment for SET, a candidate may still apply to an Institute through the SET website
  2. From the Institute websiteA candidate may also register separately for the SET on Official Website and for the Institute by visiting the respective Institutes’s website. Please note, registering for the SET test and paying fees for the SET test is mandatory before registering for an Institute/program It is important to see that a candidate appears for the appropriate SET paper to seek admission An Institute may also be offering more than one programme. A candidate should ensure the desired programme is selected You cannot apply to an Institute that does not accept the score of the test that he / she chooses to give. For example, if you choose to give the General test only, you cannot apply to SLS Similarly, if you choose to give the Law test only, you cannot apply to SSE or SCMS or SICSR You may give both tests and apply to all the four Institutes Similarly, you may give the Design test and the Engineering/Health Sciences test and also apply to SID, SIT, SIHS and SCON After declaration of the SET result, the Institute to which you have applied will conduct the further selection process for short listed candidates. The schedule for the same will be published on the websites of the respective Institutes.

  4. Symbiosis School of Photography (SSP)
  5. Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts (SSLA): [For International Baccalaureate (IB) students are exempt from SET]

Exam Pattern

Duration: The duration for SET is 150 minutes. The SET is an objective test.

Papers: The SET is conducted in two sessions for a total of FIVE question papers. A candidate may choose to apply for one paper in each session.

SET test is conducted in 19 cities. A candidate may choose any one city. The centre and its address will be informed to the candidate on the admit card.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

SET admit card 2020 was available in official website from the Month of April, 2020; the printout should be taken from there. An authenticated Admit Card is an important document without which the candidate will not be permitted to appear for further selection processes of SIU, admit Card along with Photo Identity proof (Voter ID, passport, DL, Pan card, AAdhar card etc. ) should be carried to the Test Centre at the time of the test.

Counselling

Admissions will be made on the basis of ranks secured in the SET 2020 and JEE Main examination. Only registered candidates can participate in the counselling process. The Symbiosis Counselling 2020 will start in the month of June, 2020. The university has announced the notification about cut off and further process of SET 2020.

Symbiosis Counselling Procedure

  • Candidates have to be physically present at the time of counselling in the specified time and date.
  • In counselling process, candidates have to choose their seats as per their choices.
  • Candidates should carry all the original certificates and two sets of Attested Photocopies of the certificates in counselling for the document verification process.
  • The seats will be allotted after the document verification process.
  • Candidates are required to pay the provisional admission Fee through a DD in favour of “Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune” payable at Pune.
  • In case students would not allotted any seats in the counselling process they can apply for the waiting list on payment of Rs.1,00,000/- through a DD (the fee will be returned in case candidates does not get any seat allotted).

Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the BVP CET 2020 application form, candidates are suggested to go through the following eligibility criteria described below:

– Applying candidates must have passed the 10+2 with an aggregate of 45% marks for unreserved category (40% for the reserved category candidates).
It is mandatory for the candidates having physics and mathematics with biology/chemistry/biotechnology (optional) in 12th.

How to Apply

If your are applying for MEDPET, DENPET, HOMPET, AYUPET Courses, send registration form’s print with your documents mention in information brochure. It is compulsory to attach EBS Payment Success Slip received on registered email id along with documents. For all other Courses, keep registration form’s print out with you for future reference. No need to send registration form’s print as well as documents to our university office.

Online Process
– Candidates need to visit the official website and have to register on the website. The registration process was generate password and login ID for future login.

– For the fee payment candidate was pay via Credit/Debit card and Net banking. After which the candidate was get an email containing all information of the payment details.

– Candidates are advised to fill the application form correctly. Candidates should make sure to upload their clear coloured photograph, signature and other documents.

– After the completion of the application form candidates have to click on the “Submit” button to submit their form.

Offline Process
– The application can be purchased from the Bharati Vidyapeeth University office.

– The candidates have to sign the form at the specified area and the form has to be duly signed by the candidate’s guardians.

– Don’t forget to paste candidates PP size photograph and attach other documents.

– The fee payment was made through DD from any Nationalized Bank.

– The application form should be sent to the address of the university before the due date.

Syllabus

Paper Pattern

There are total 200 objective type questions of 1 mark each from the subject Physics and Mathematics. The question paper comprises of 100 questions from Physics and next 100 questions from Mathematic. It is required for the students to complete the BVP CET 2020 exam within 3 hours. Good news for the candidates that there will be no negative marking in the exam so attempt as many questions as possible.

Eligibility Criteria

Admission to all the programmes of M.Sc., M.Tech., MBA and Ph.D. (FT & PT) of the Institute is open to all Indian Nationals. NRI, foreign students are also allowed for the admission provided they fulfill eligibility criteria and obtain clearance from Govt. of India. A candidate employed in any Govt./semi Govt. Department/Organization etc. must enclose a “No Objection Certificate” as per format in Annexure-II (for PG) and Annexure-IV (for Ph.D.) from the Employer stating that he/she will be relieved for the study during the period of the programme.

Candidates must possess the educational qualifications as stated below for applying to the programmes.

M.Sc. in Forestry: 4-year Bachelor of Science in Forestry with a CGPA 6.5 on a 10.00-point scale or 60% marks in aggregate. 5% marks relaxation will be given to SC/ST/PWD Category.

M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics: B.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics with 55% marks in aggregate (Pass Course) and 50% marks in major/honours subject. 5% marks relaxation will be given to SC/ST/PWD Category.

M. Tech.: B. Tech. or equivalent degree with a CGPA 6.5 on a 10.00 point scale or 60% marks in aggregate for General Category with valid GATE Score. 5% marks relaxation will be given to SC/ST/PWD category Candidates. Candidates without GATE score will also be considered, subject to availability of seats.

MBA: Bachelor Degree in any discipline/courses approved by UGC or AICTE, with 55% marks in aggregate and 50% for SC/ST category.

Ph.D. (Full Time & Part Time): Candidates having Master’s Degree in Engineering & Technology with 60% marks in aggregate or CGPA 6.5 on 10.00-point scale and 55% marks in aggregate in Science/Humanities for General category. 5% marks relaxation will be given to SC/ST/PWD category in both
the cases. Applicants, who wish to pursue Ph.D. while in employment /service, need to submit NOC from (Annexure-IV) their employer at the time of counselling cum admission.

Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to find admission into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:
i) Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers
ii) Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part- time\evening\distance mode)
iii) Satisfies all the eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned

5. In the next step, the applicant is required to upload scanned image file of his/her Photograph and Signature one by one [as specified in Para 4 & 5 above].
6. In the next step, the applicant is required to fill the Academic details.

– Candidates who have passed D.Pharm in First Division from PCI recognized institution may apply for direct admission to 2nd year (III Semester) in B.Pharm Course

– Candidates who have passed Polytechnic Diploma/B.Sc in First Division from recognized institution may apply for direct admission to 2nd year (III Semester) of B.Tech Course.

MCA (6 Semesters):
– Graduate in any discipline with 45% in Mathematics at intermediate level/PGDCA/BCA, 60 seats, Admissions through UPSEE**

Application Procedure:

1. Application to the PUCAT-2021 can be made through online mode only. Candidates are required to fill the Application Form On-Line through the website http://www.vbspu.ac.in.

2. On-Line application form through the website http://www.vbspu.ac.in can be submitted from 11th June 2021 1400 hrs to 20th July 2021 23:59 hrs.

3. Candidates are advised to read this Information brochure carefully, check their eligibility and applicable reservation category etc. before filling and submitting the application form.

4. This Entrance Examination is open to all the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in country.

5. Do not send hard copy of “Confirmation Page” after completion and online submission of application form on the portal of University. However, the Candidate should keep the printout of the Confirmation page for personal record. Candidates are advised to note down the application Form Number for future correspondence.

6. Candidates need not to send hard copy / photo copy of any document, whatsoever, to the University at this stage.

7. Through online process of Application form, candidates have to upload scanned images of his/her latest colored photograph and signature. Application forms having blurred photographs are liable to be rejected.

8. Candidates claiming advantage of reserved categories, sub-categories, etc. must be required to indicate in the Application Form and not required to send any certificate to the University at this stage. These certificates, in original, will have to be produced at the time of Documents Verification along with one self-attested copy of each one of them.

9. Candidates who are due to appear for the qualifying examination or have appeared, but results are awaited, are also eligible to appear in the PUCAT-2021. However, the candidates in respect of whom, the result of the qualifying examination has not been declared till the date of the document verification, due to any reason whatsoever, shall not be eligible for admission under any circumstances.

10. The result of PUCAT-2021 declared by VBS Purvanchal University Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, shall be final.

11. If any document/declaration submitted by the candidate is found to be false at any stage, his/her admission shall be cancelled, and he/she may be liable for prosecution under the law. The candidate must himself/herself ensure about his/her eligibility to appear in the Entrance Examination. If a candidate, who is not eligible to appear in the examination, does so; he/ she will not have any claim whatsoever, for admission to any course through PUCAT-2021.

12. The Entrance Examination Fee for PUCAT-2021 is Rs. 500/- for Unreserved and OBC category and Rs. 250/- for the candidates belonging to SC/ST.

13. The allotment of seat through counseling will be carried out strictly in accordance with the PUCAT-2021 merit of the candidate, subject to the order of preference given for the seats and availability of seat in the category. Once the seat is allotted to the candidate, no change in the Institution / Branch is admissible.

14. The fee paid at the time of counseling by the candidate, after the allotment of seat will be forfeited and will not be refunded under any circumstances, even if the candidate does not report for the admission to the allotted institutions.

15. All information about PUCAT-2021 shall be made through University Website https://vbspu.ac.in. The candidates are advised to refer to this website regularly/frequently failing which VBSPU will not be responsible for any loss due to the lack of communication.

16. In case of any deficiency in application form, it is likely to be rejected and sole responsibility of its consequences will lie on the candidate and representation in this regard shall not been entertained.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management and Research (BVIMR) in New Delhi affiliated to Bharati Vidyapeeth University announced the date of the BUMAT entrance exam. It is conducted for admission into the BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) program. The admission of foreign students to BBA and BCA course is determined separately by a merit list announced by BVDU.

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before applying.

  • Candidates must pass in higher secondary i.e. 10+2 or its equivalent exam from a legitimate board with percentage of 45% in aggregate.
  • For SC/ST candidates the minimum percentage is 40%.

Application Fee

The candidates are required to pay Rs. 1200 irrespective of category one belongs to. This fee is non-refundable and can be paid online using Credit/Debit or Internet Banking. Also, the candidates can pay the fee via DD. The DD can be made in favour of “The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University” payable at Pune.

How to Apply

All the interested candidates looking for BUMAT Application Form 2017 can get in the month of february 2017.

– Candidates can apply only through Online Application Form. You need to visit the official website to fill the BUMAT Application Form 2017.
– The candidates are required to fill in details like personal, contact, educational, upload photograph & signature in the form.
– Candidates need to pay INR 200/- as BUMAT Application Fee 2017 whereas INR 1200 as their Examination Fee.

– At the time of filling up centralized entrance test form of BUMAT candidates must require opting for BBA program from the available list of undergraduate programs.

Candidates can pay the application fee through demand draft/credit card/ debit card/ net banking.

Exam Pattern

The BUMAT entrance test will contain 200 questions and every question will carry one mark with no negative mark. Each question will have four alternatives among which one answer is right. Candidates need to choose that right answer.

The duration of the test will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The exam will contain four sections namely Reasoning & Logical Aptitude, Numerical Aptitude, Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability.

Admit Card
