U.P. Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association is a consortium of Unaided Non Minority Medical Colleges in Uttar Pradesh formed under the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court judgement in Islamic Academy of Education Vs. State of Karnataka.
The Association has been registered under the Societies Registration Act (Act No. 21 of 1860), Registration No. 346/2006/07 dated 20. 07. 2006. The Association is an authority to conduct Uttar Pradesh Combined Medical Entrance Test “UPCMET” for admission in the First Year of MBBS course in the member colleges. The Merit List declared by the UP Unaided Medical College Welfare Association on the basis of Entrance Test is a pre-requisite for admission in member colleges in corresponding courses and is valid for admission to all Member Colleges.

Eligibility Criteria
– Educational Qualification as per the MCI norms.
– Admission is open to all citizen of India.
– 17 years of age as on 31st December.
– Reservation as per Govt. order applicable at the time.
– Candidates must have passed 10+2 level examination of UP Board / ISC / CBSE or its equivalent from any recognised Board / University with English as a subject; securing minimum 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) marks on average in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (including practical examination) taken together.
– Candidates appearing in 10+2 examination of 2017 are also eligible to appear in entrance test but at the time of counseling they have to produce the passing mark sheet of 10+2 examination, failing which no allotment of seats will be made.

Completely filled Online through the link provided on the website www.upumcwa.org. The candidate is required to upload scanned photograph, signature and thumb impression. The candidate should supply all the required details while filling up the online form. On submission of details, a Confirmation Page with Application No. shall be generated. Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation Page and keep it for reference.
The application fee payment can be made online : 1) By Credit Card. 2) By Debit Card. 3) By Net Banking.

Paper Pattern
– Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall during the gap between Paper-I and Paper-II
– Paper-I will be of 200 marks and Paper-II will be of 50 marks. But combined maximum marks for merit in UPCMET would be 200 i.e. Total marks of Paper-I. Paper-II will be of qualifying nature.
– Minimum cut-off pass percentage of marks in Paper-I shall be 50% (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC) and 50% in Paper-II (40% forSC/ST/OBC) to be secured in this test. In general, merit shall be determined on the basis of marks secured in Paper-I only.
– There will be negative marks of 1/4 for each wrong answer.
– More than one answer marked in OMR answer sheet will also be considered as wrong answer
– Only Black Ball Point Pen shall be used for answering on OMR answer sheet as perdirection given in the OMR Sheet.
Admit Card
– The Admit cards will be available for download from the website www.upumcwa.org
– In case the candidate is having problem in downloading the admit card, he/she can get duplicate admit card one day before the Scheduled Examination Date from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm at the examination centre opted by the students but not on the date of examination.
To get the duplicate admit card candidate should contact the observer-UPUMCWA at the Examination Centre (as shown on the website) and they must carry the following :-
a. Two passport size photographs, similar to that pasted on application form i.e. from the same negative.
b. Rs. 100/- as fee for duplicate admit card.
c. Photocopy of Application Form along with Application Form No.
d. Proof of submitting the application form.
e. Proof of identity such as Passport/Voter ID Card/Pan Card/DL/High School Certificate etc. which must consist the photograph of candidate.
Results
– The answers to questions given by Panel of Paper Setters of respective papers and the result based on those answers shall be final and unchallengeable.
– Evaluation of Answer sheets (Barcoded OMR Sheets) shall be done through computer only. There will be no revaluation of answer sheets in any case.
– In general, the merit will be prepared on the basis of average percentage of total marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-I of the Entrance Examination conducted by UP Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UPUMCWA) subject to minimum cut-off percentage.
– The percentage will be calculated up to two decimals precision.
– Minimum cut-off pass percentage of marks in Paper-I shall be 50% (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC).
– A minimum 50% pass percentage in Paper-II of General English (Qualifying paper) (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC) is required to qualify formerit purposes.

The Government of India established the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in 1975 with the objective of improving the quality of the Medical Education by establishing high and uniform standards of postgraduate examinations in modern medicine on All India Basis and utilizing existing healthcare infrastructure for capacity building.

Eligibility Criteria
To get eligible in Jharkhand PGET entrance examination and study in National Board of Examinations (NBE) candidate are required to meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Candidates need to complete MBBS Examination from any University/Medical College of Jharkhand State.
- Candidates must have completed the Rotating Internship and have obtained permanent Registration from Medical Council of India or Bihar/Jharkhand State Medical Council.
- Candidates serving internship duration and scheduled to complete the internship by last week of March shall also be eligible for the exam.
- There is no upper age limit for the entrance examination.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket
The candidate should verify all the information in the admit card. If any issue is found, then get it corrected with the concerned authority.
The candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without it, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. It is also very important to document for the further admission processes.
Cutoff
The cut off score depends on difficulty level of exam, availability of seats, number of applicants, etc. Based on the cut-off score examination authority prepares the merit list and candidates are called for counselling.
Results
Every year the entrance examination is conducted where the results are declared by March 2017 (Expected).
Counselling
Shortlisted candidates are supposed to login in to the official site and check their counselling dates. Selected candidates have to carry their original mark-sheets and certificates at the time of counselling and if they fail to carry their original certificates and mark-sheets their admission will be cancelled. Downloaded mark-sheets and certificates are not allowed. The counselling process would start tentatively by April 2017 (Expected).

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) is a state-government controlled centralised test for admission to many private and governmental medical, engineering & management institutions in Odisha. The test is taken after the 12th grade, diploma, graduate degree, postgraguate degree for admission to graduation of lateral entry in B.Tech, lateral entry in B.Arch, B.Pharm, BDS, (also known as Bachelors), MBA, MCA, PDCM, PGDM, M.Pharm, and M.Tech courses. MBBS and B.Tech courses have been removed from OJEE after the announcement of All India Pre Meadical Test (AIPMT) and IIT-JEE. The exam is taken by those who studied Pure Science stream in class 12 level with the specific subjects tested in the examination, which are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Presently it is being conducted only for Engineering colleges due to the announcement of a ALL INDIA COMMON MEDICAL ENTRANCE EXAM (NEET). Earlier there used to be two separate tests for medical colleges and engineering colleges, the difference being that the medical test has the Biology paper while the engineering test has the Mathematics paper.

Eligibility Criteria
For admission to 1st Year Degree courses in Pharmacy BAMS and BHMS.
3.1.1. Pharmacy:
Passed or appearing in 2017, 10+2 Science examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject. The candidate should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together. There is no age limit to appear at OJEE-2017 for admission into Pharmacy courses.
3.1.2. Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) and Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Passed or appearing in 2017, 10+2 Science examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany and Zoology) with at least 50% marks in aggregate (Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) for general category candidates and 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ ST candidates.
AGE:
The lower age shall be 17 years as on December 31, 2017. The candidates have to submit H.S.C. or equivalent certificate in support of age during certificate verification at the time of counseling.
3.2 For admission to Lateral Entry
3.2.1. For admission into 2nd year Degree courses in Engineering/Technology courses under Lateral Entry for Diploma holders:
A. Passed or appearing in 2017, in three year diploma examination (two year in case of Lateral entry Diploma) in Engineering/Technology/ from State Council of Technical Education and Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute / from a recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
B. The native of Odisha as well as the outside state candidates who have prosecuted their study for the qualifying examination in an Institute in Odisha having approval from the competent authority are eligible for admission under Lateral Entry. Candidates who have prosecuted diploma in approved institutes of other states are allowed to take admission in Private Engineering colleges as per their OJEE rank. But, separate merit list shall be drawn for such outside state candidates and they will be allowed for admission in the remaining vacant seats, if any, after the state merit list is fully exhausted through centralized counseling conducted by the JEE committee. Results of final diploma examination must be available on the date of document verification during counselling.
C. There is no reservation of seats in various categories in lateral entry to degree Engineering/Technology courses. The candidates who is a native of Odisha must submit the Resident/ Nativity Certificate (Appendix-I) at the time of document verification. The candidate has to submit the Resident/ Nativity certificate in the prescribed format i.e., Appendix-I issued not earlier than January 2017.
D. Diploma passout candidates can take admission in vacant seats of 1st year B Arch programme if they have valid NATA score and minimum average 50% mark in diploma course.

How to Apply
Three steps to complete the process- 1. Register selecting the correct form 2. Upload images 3. Pay the examination fee. After that you can take print of your confirmation page. Two working days are required after you pay the fee to print confirmation page. Before filling up the application form the candidate should have scanned images of his/her photograph, full signature and left thumb impression (left hand thumb for boys and girls). These scanned images are to be uploaded during the submission of application form.
The photograph should be colour. It should be without cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed. Polaroid photos are not acceptable. Candidates with unclear photograph are liable to be rejected. Candidates may keep 3-5 identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of entrance examination, Counselling and Admission.

– The candidate/parent has to read carefully the information brochure and instructions to fill the online Application Form for OJEE-2017.
– Then he/she has to go to the link ‘Online Student Registration System ‘and open “Odisha Joint Entrance Examination-2017”. – Once the candidate clicks ‘Odisha Joint Entrance Examination- 2017”Application Form for OJEE-2017’,
– Choose the correct Application Form among- A, B, C, D, E AND F. You are allowed to register in one application form only. Based on your qualification and what you are interested to study, choose correct entrance test and for that choose the correct form.
Fill in the on-line application form and note down the registration number/application number after submission. REGISTRATION NUMBER/APPLICATION NUMBER IS THE USER ID FOR FURTHER LOGIN. Password you are creating while filling up the form.
Once you have created your password and registration/application number is generated, you can login as many times for uploading images and fee payment.
After submission of the required data asked during online form fill-up, the candidate has to click, submit button. At the bottom of the next page, two buttons “submit” and “reset” are given.
Exam Pattern
- Multiple Choice questions are asked in the examination and 60 questions per hour. There is negative marking in OJEE.
- For each correct answers you will be rewarded with four marks and for one incorrect answer one mark will be deducted. Though, mark sheet for the OJEE is not issued however candidates if doubtful of the result can ask for verification for which JEE office charges Rs.500/-.
- Demand draft drawn in the name of ”JEE-2017” in favor of any nationalized bank at Bhubaneswar.
- Application for verification of marks should be done within seven days of the publication of OJEE result.
- Candidates who wish to know the subject wise score of examination have to make a written requestalong with a demand draft of Rs.200/- in favor of ”JEE-2017” drawn on any Nationalized Bank at Bhubaneswar.
- The application should reach the JEE office within 10 days of the publication of OJEE result. Candidates who do not receive the Orissa JEE entrance rank card or have lost the rank card can get a duplicate rank card from the counselling venue on the day of his or her counselling on payment of Rs.200/- in the form of Bank draft in favour of “OJEE-2017” drawn on any nationalised bank payable at Bhubaneswar.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket
Admit cards will be uploaded at OJEE website (www.ojee.nic.in / www.odishajee.com). The candidate has to download two copies of the admit card from the OJEE website which must be endorsed by the Invigilator of the examination centre for allowing the candidate to appear the exam.
If the candidate desires to change any information printed on the Admit card, he/she has to contact OJEE-2017 office immediately after taking the print out of the Admit Card. A photograph identical to the one pasted on the confirmation slip must be kept with the candidate during Examination.
One copy of the admit card duly signed by the invigilator must be submitted at the examination hall and other should be retained by the candidate. However the submitted admit card may be examined at a later stage to validate the authenticity. The candidate has to keep the Admit card duly signed by invigilator until he/she takes final admission in the University /College/Institution.

Assam Combined Entrance Examination or the (Assam CEE) is a state-government controlled centralized test, conducted by the Dibrugarh University for admission to many private and governmental medical and engineering institutions in Assam. The test is taken after the 12th grade for admission to graduation (also known as Bachelors) courses. The exam can be taken by those who studied Pure Science stream in plus two level with the specific subjects tested in the examination, which are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. There are actually two separate tests for medical and engineering, the difference being that the medical test has the Biology paper while the engineering test has the Mathematics paper.
Every year approximately 25 thousand people take the examination and it is increasing. Students of both Assam Higher Secondary Education Council and the central Central Board of Secondary Education board take the test. It’s a prestigious test, and there are few students of science stream in Assam who don’t take at least one of the two tests.

Eligibility Criteria
– The candidates appearing for Assam CEE 2020 are advised to check the eligibility criteria, the detailed information regarding eligibility conditioned is mentioned gere as under.
– The candidates must have a domicile of Assam.
– The candidate appearing for the exam must be in the age limit of 17 to 24 years of age as on August 1, 2020. Their is the provision of relaxation up to 3 years in upper age limit is provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved category.
– The candidates appearing in the exam must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology/Maths.
– The candidates belonging to reserved category the minimum percentage criteria is 45%.

How to Apply
The eligible candidates can fill the Assam CEE 2020 application form in the month of March 2020. The notification that contains the information about application form is expected to be released in the month of March, 2017. The candidates are advised to keep the documents ready required in the application form. The authority facilitates the online mode for filling the application form. Read all the instructions carefully mentioned in the information brochure before applying. Applications received after expiry of the last date shall be summarily rejected.

Syllabus
The question paper of Assam CEE for admission to medical and engineering courses will consists of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. The syllabus of the entrance examination is as per the latest syllabus of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council/NCERT.
Paper Pattern
Assam CEE 2017 Paper Pattern will be as per the current NCERT Syllabus by the Assam Higher Secondary Education council. Interested students who wish to get higher qualification can submit online application through www.ceemedu.org or www.dibru.ac.in.
Candidates should study Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the papers will be based on XIth and XIIth standard syllabus of these subjects.

The allotment of seats will be done through the counselling round. The candidates who have qualified the entrance examination are required to participate in the counselling for filling the choices for the courses and branch. The seats are distributed as per the candidate’s rank/merit in the entrance exam.

UPSEE entrance examination conduct for admission degree level engineering institutions and other professional colleges has been assigned to Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University (APJAKTU), Lucknow by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. The Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, Technical Education Department, has consented for the constitution of Central Admission Board (CAB) under the Chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow to supervise and control the State Entrance Examination herein after referred as UPSEE being conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.
This Entrance Examination is open to the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in U.P. or whose parents are domicile of U.P subject to the eligibility conditions given in Information Brochure. If the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside U.P., he/she has to produce domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother only) at the time of verification of the document.

Eligibility Criteria
– The candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria as given in clause 3.1/3.2/3.3 to appear in UPSEE. However, the candidates appearing in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to appear, subject to the condition that they must fulfil the eligibility criteria as given in clause 3.1/3.2/3.3 at the time of counselling.
– There is no age limit for admission to the courses covered in UPSEE.
(B.Tech.) – Bachelor of Technology
– Candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University without grace in required each compulsory subjects is Physics, Mathematics & Biology and one optional subjects is Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects.
– All candidates who are eligible for admission in B.Tech. Courses are also eligible for B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) and B.Tech. (Biotechnology)
(B.Pharm.) – Bachelor of Pharmacy
– Candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University without grace in required each compulsory subjects Physics & Chemistry and one optional subject as Mathematics/ Bio-Technology/Biology / Technical Vocational Subject and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects.
(B.Arch.) – Bachelor of Architecture
– For admission to first year of B. Arch., a candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing (i) minimum 50% marks in aggregate and (ii) clearly passed without grace, each compulsory (Mathematics & Physics) and optional subjects (Chemistry/ Computer Science/Biology/ Engineering Drawing /Technical Vocational subject ) as given in clause.
– A candidate possessing three years Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognised by Central / State Govt., is also eligible for admission to the first year of B. Arch. only, provided the candidate has passed the Diploma examination securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate without grace. Such candidates will have to appear in the entrance examination for the first year of B. Arch.
(BHMCT) – Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology
– For admission to the first year of BHMCT candidate must have clearly passed the intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognised Board / University and securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.
(BFAD) – Bachelor of Fashion & Apparel Design
– For admission to the first year of BFAD candidate must have clearly passed the intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognised Board / University and securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.
(BFA) – Bachelor of Fine Arts
– For admission to the first year of BFA, the candidate must have clearly passed the intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognised Board / University and securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.
(MBA – Master of Business Administration
For admission to the first year of MBA in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of three years minimum duration from any recognised Indian University; or its equivalent, recognised by A.I.U securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in
aggregate.
(MCA) – Master of Computer Application
– For admission to the first year of MCA in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of three years minimum duration from any recognised Indian University; or its equivalent, recognised by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. Candidate must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level.
– For admission to the first year of MBA/MCA in other Universities of U.P., a candidate must have passed Bachelor degree course with the eligibility conditions given in following table subject to the confirmation received from the concerned University:
(MAM) (Dual Degree) – Master of Applied Management (Dual Degree)
– For Admission to the first year of MAM Course (Dual degree), a candidate must have passed Intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognised Board/ University and securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.
B.Tech (Lateral Entry)
– Lateral entry in “B.Tech. for Engg. Diploma holders or B.Sc. Graduates with Mathematics as one of the subject at XII standard”/ “B.Pharm. for Diploma holders” in the third semester (second year)/”MCA for Graduates of BCA or B.Sc.-Information Technology/Computer Science in the third semester (second year)”, is open only in the institutions affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow.
– Candidates who have passed ‘three years Engg. Diploma from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) OR ‘whose parents (Father or mother) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh’ and he/she has passed three years Engg. Diploma with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) recognised by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., in any branch of Engineering (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture), are eligible for admission to the Second year in any branch of Engineering / Technology.
– Candidates who have passed ‘three years Diploma in Agriculture Engg. from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% marks(40% for SC/ST)’ OR ‘whose parents (Father or mother) are domicile of U.P.’ and he/she has passed three years Diploma in Agriculture Engg. with minimum 45% marks(40% for SC/ST) recognised by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., are eligible for admission to the Second year of Agriculture Engg. State Govt. has permitted 10% of the total sanctioned seats available in Technology / Architecture courses in private institutions affiliated to AKTU to be filled through combined merit of U.P. Domicile and Non-U.P. Domicile candidates without reservation subject to eligibility conditions given in this Information Brochure. Thus, 10% of the total sanctioned seats in Technology /Architecture courses in Private Institutions, affiliated to AKTU, shall also be opened to the candidates whose parent belongs to the State other than Uttar Pradesh and has passed qualifying examination from an Institution located outside U.P. These seats shall be filled on the basis of UPSEE Merit.

Exam Pattern
UPSEE will be conducted for TWELVE papers with objective multiple type questions except Drawing Aptitude test (Part B of paper 4). The candidates are required to opt papers and subjects for appearing in the entrance examination as mentioned in clause 4.3, subject to their eligibility as per clause 3. Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3 and Paper 4 shall be OMR based Test only. Paper 5, Paper 6, Paper 7, Paper 8, Paper 9, Paper 10, Paper 11 and Paper 12 will be Computer Based Test only. There will be no negative marking. However, a record of incorrect answers given by a candidate will be kept separately.

Cutoff
Candidates have who score more than cut off Marks would feature in the merit list. Candidates names included in the merit list will be called for counselling rounds. Candidates can check previous years cut off marks to get an idea of Cut off for the current year as cut-off will be declared after the declaration of Result.
