Jharkhand General Nursing & Midwifery Entrance Competitive Examination (GNMECE) is conducted for admissions to G.N.M. diploma Course in Jharkhand state.
Age Limit Criteria
Candidates should have minimum age of 17 years and maximum 35 years as on 31st December of the examination year.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 40% marks (35% in case of candidates belonging to ST & SC category) OR passed 10+2 vocational ANM from school course recognized by Indian Nursing Council OR passed ANM training i.e. +2 after 10+1 ½ years training or its equivalent examination.

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) conducts B.Sc. Nursing (Basic & Post Basic Group) Entrance Competitive Examination (BscNECE)
Educational Qualifications:
- B.Sc. Nursing Basic Course: Candidates must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subject. Candidates must secure 50% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category). Candidates who are appear for I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination can also apply.
- B.Sc. Nursing Post Basic Course: Applicant must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent.Candidates who are appear for I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination can also apply.
Age Criteria:
- B.Sc. Nursing Basic Course: Candidates aspiring for Basic course should have minimum age 17 years and maximum age limit is 21 year on 31st December of the examination year. For SC/ST candidates, age limit has been relaxed upto 25 years./li>
- B.Sc. Nursing Post Basic Course: Candidates should have maximum age of 35 years (45 years in case of regular employee of State Government) as on 31st December of the examination year.
