Post- Graduate Courses Offered By The University:

The Course Study for the Post-Graduate Degree of Ayurveda Vachaspati / Dhanvatari –
MD/MS(Ayurved) is of three years duration having two Examinations as under:
(1) Part-I (Preliminary) Examination at the end of one academic year after admission.
(2) Part-II (Final) Examination at the end of two academic years after completing Part-I Course.

Reservation Criteria

– 50% seats are reserved for Uttarakhand State (those who are domicile of Uttarakhand state and/or passed BAMS from Uttarakhand) & remaining 50% seats for other States.
– Reservation for Uttarakhand seats will be as per rules of Uttarakhand Government & for other states seats as per Central Government rules.

* Entrance Test for these seats is subject to the approval of C.C.I.M/Government of India.

How to Apply

Those candidates, who submit downloaded application forms, have to submit the required fee of Rs. 5000/- only (for General and OBC candidates) and Rs 4000/-only (for SC/ST/PH candidates) through online Bank Challan/Bank Draft In favour of Finance Officer, Uttarakhand Ayurved University drew on Dehradun and copy of original Bank Challan/Bank Draft will be submitted with the application form. The last date of submission of the application forms to the Coordinator- (U.A.P.G.M.E.E.-2016) Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Harrawala, Dehradun is 31-03-2017 till 5:00 PM by registered/speed post.

– The duly filled application form will only be accepted along with prescribed examination fee. Those candidates, who are applying through the downloaded application forms, should submit completed application form along with the fee in the form of online Bank Challan/Bank Draft and send it to Coordinator, UAPGMEE- 2017, Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Harrawala, Dehradun- 248001.

Exam Pattern

• The Competitive Entrance Examination for MD / MS ( Ayurved ) shall consist of one paper of 100 multiple answer questions. It shall be of ninety minutes duration and shall carry maximum of 100 marks. Syllabus of the question paper shall be same as course of B.A.M.S. ( All Professionals / year ).
• All the questions will be objective type with multiple ( A, B, C, D ) choice of which only one will be the most appropriate response and, therefore, the correct choice. Each answer with correct choice shall be awarded ONE mark. ZERO marks shall be given to no response. 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong response. If more than one choice is indicated against a question it shall be considered as incorrect response and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each such incorrect response.

• UAPGMEE Minimum marks criteria Minimum marks criteria : General Category candidates shall have to secure a minimum of 50% marks and the reserved category candidates a minimum of 40% marks in order to qualify for admission to a Post Graduate Ayurvedic course.
• Candidates eligible in the reserved category will be given admission as per rules of State Government / Central Government applicable as on last date fixed for receipt of application.

The results for AIPGMEE is likely to be declared by 15th January 2016. The mark sheet- cum-result certificate for the AIPGMEE 2015 examination – All India 50% Quota can be downloaded from the website www.nbe.gov.in/AIPGMEE after the declaration of result.

There is no provision for rechecking/re-evaluation/re-totaling of the answer sheets and no query in this regard will be entertained.
The data of AFMS Institutes/ Any State/UT/University/College/Institution may be procured from the NBE for generating their merit list/result as per their requirement/ reservation policy by the respective authority.

PPMET 2016 Counselling

The PPMET 2016 Counselling will be held through online mode only. The last date for submission of online admission application form and filling of preferences of colleges/ category /quota is 9th August 2016.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have passed qualifying examination as under:

The higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST/BC) marks in PCB after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years education structure as recommended by the National Committee of Education. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible;

OR

Any other examination which, in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science examination of an Indian University/Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology including a practical test in each of these subjects with minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST/BC) marks in PCB. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible.

In case candidate has also taken up Mathematics along with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English then the marks obtained in Mathematics shall not be considered for admission to B.Sc Nursing Courses.

The candidate should be bonafide resident of Punjab. The Resident status of the Punjab State, will be taken in terms of Punjab Government, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (PP II Branch) letter No. 1/3/95-3 PP II/9619, dated 6th June, 1996, ID No. 1/2/96-3PP-2/8976, dated 7th July, 1998 and ID No. letter No.1/3/95-3PP II/81, dated 1st January 1999 and further instructions issued by the Department, if any, from time to time, and the same, shall be adhered to in letter and spirits in PPMET.

Candidate should have passed in the subjects of PCB and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (for SC/ST 40%) taken together in PCB at the qualifying examination i.e. (10+2). (The eligibility is as per INC letter No. 1-6/2015-INC dated 21.09.2015.

50% of the total seats in private institutions shall constitute the Management Quota including 15% of the total seats for Foreign Indian Students (NRI candidates).

Age Limit:

The applying Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years, on or before 31st December of the corresponding year.

How to Apply

Before applying, candidate should carefully read PROSPECTUS for eligibility conditions and other important instructions. For admission into B.Sc Nursing candidates have to fill the online application from the official website bfuhs.ac.in on or before the last date of application. Candidates are advised must ensure their eligibility and other conditions before filling the online application.

Exam Pattern

The Test shall have one paper consisting of questions in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The duration of test will be three hours from 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. which includes the time consumed in signatures, thumb impressions, photography and other security measures.

There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. However, for security reasons fifth oval (i.e. E) has been introduced. In all un-attempted questions fifth oval must be darkened otherwise if all ovals are left blank then that question shall carry one negative mark. Hence it is in the interest of the candidate not to leave all ovals blank in any question and one oval has to be shaded out of the five.

There will be 200 Multiple Choice Questions (50 each of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology). Each question will carry four marks, thus total marks will be 800.

The questions will be in English. The candidate will be required to find out the correct answer and mark it on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Response Sheet by darkening the corresponding oval against the serial number of the question with BLACK FINE TIP BALL PEN ONLY provided by the university at the time of test.

Admission to undergraduate courses in Medicine (MBBS) and dentistry (BDS) for the academic year 2016-17 in constituent colleges of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed University) will be done on the basis of marks obtained in The AIPMT-2016/NEET- I which was conducted on 1/5/2016 / NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST – II (UG), 2016 conducted on 24/7/2016.

All Students having PIMS-DU merit number from 1 to 2500 are called for counselling at 9 AM as per following timetable for admission to MBBS/BDS

You will have to remain physically present yourself on the day and time of counselling along with the required Original Certificates and Demand Draft for payment of full fees as mentioned under clause Tuition Fees of the prospectus.

NEET percentile and All India Rank mentioned in your form will be verified during counselling. In the case of variation , your PIMS-DU merit number will be revised as per your merit.

Payment Of Fees

If you are found eligible and offered admission to a course, you will have to pay a full tuition fee as mentioned under clause Tuition Fees of the prospectus by Demand Draft drawn on Nationalized bank in favour of PRAVARA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, Loni drawn on the bank as indicated below.

For convenience, the candidate is advised to bring two separate demand draft of Rs. 4,17,000/- and Rs. 4,33,000/-. i.e. a total of Rs. 8,50,000.00.

You will have to pay the full amount of fees for the course to which you are offered admission, failing which the admission offered to you will be treated as cancelled and no claim of admission will be retained. The request for an extension of time limit for payment or to accept partial payment will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Hostel Fee, Hostel Deposit and Mess Deposit can be paid in cash on confirmation of admission.

Eligibility Criteria for M.B.B.S/BDS Program given below:
– Candidate must be Indian National.

– The nationality certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate / Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid passport will be considered as a proof of Nationality.

– Candidate must have passed qualifying examination i.e. HSC (or equivalent) examination with the subject Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

– Candidate belonging to general category must have passed in the subjects of Physics,Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC ( or equivalent) examination.

– Candidate belonging to backwards classes must have passed in the subjects of Physics,Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) examination.

– Candidate should be either of 17 years of age on or attain this age as on 31st December of the Academic year in which admission is sought.

– The candidates who are appearing for qualifying examination i.e. HSC (or equivalent) in February/March of the respective academic year are eligible to appear for the entrance examination, however, they must fulfil the eligibility condition at the time of counselling.

– Candidate belonging to the general category should obtain minimum 50% marks in CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by this Deemed University. However, admission will be on the basis of merit.

– Candidate belonging to backwards classes should obtain minimum 40% marks in CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by this Deemed University. However, admission will be on the basis of merit.

The University does not charge capitation fee or any hidden fee
* The tuition fee for M.B.B.S course shall be increased by 15% and tuition fee for B.D.S.course shall be increased by 10% of the existing fees for the remaining period of the course from the Academic year 2019-20.

– The merit list has been prepared to indicate hall ticket number, name, All India rank, PIMS-DU Merit number and percentile of marks scored by the candidate.

=> The candidate, seeking to appear at the AICET-2016 shall be an Indian national and shall have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2016, i.e. he/she should have been born on 01st Jan 2000

=> The candidate, seeking admission to these programmes, shall have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination/the Indian School Certificate (ISC) exam/Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) examination or any other exam equivalent to 10+2 HSC examination of any recognized Board /University from any school/College situated in India after 12 years of study
The candidate with other qualifications shall have to get equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian University (AIU), New Delhi

=> The candidate, seeking admission to these programmes, shall have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained at least 50% marks (40% marks in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/OBC) in Physics Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination, i.e. 10+2/ HSC or an equivalent examination

=> A candidate who has appeared or is likely to appear for qualifying exam i.e. HSC etc., and whose results have not been declared at the time of AICET-2016 shall also be considered eligible to appear for AICET-2016, provided he/she has offered the above-mentioned subjects at the said qualifying exams

Application Procedure:

=> Application Form can be obtained from the university office on the payment of Rs.500 /- in cash or Demand Draft. Through a requisition letter with the name, of course, opted for, detailed correspondence address with contact no. and email address, along with a demand draft of Rs.600/- drown on any nationalized bank, in favour of “Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune”, payable at Pune By downloading from the university website www.dpu.edu.in

=> The downloaded form shall be submitted along with a Demand Draft of Rs.2600/- covering Form Fee + Test Fee plus Postage Rs.100/-) Fees should not be sent by money order. The university shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss

=> Fees should not be sent by Money Order. The Vidyapeeth shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit. Late Fee for all courses shall be Rs.250/-

List of documents to be submitted at the time of interview / discussion before departmental research committee:
1. S.S.C/Equivalent Examination mark statement & Certificate
2. H.S.C./ Equivalent Examination mark statement & certificate
3. AIET2014 Marks print out from Web Site
4. Bonafide and character certificate from the Head of Institution last attended.
5. Leaving /Transfer Certificate from the Institute last attended
6. Nationality Certificate
7. Backward class Caste & Caste Verification certificate
8. Affidavit in the format as per Annexure III signed by you and countersigned by your parent / guardian in the presence of Notary Public on a stamp paper.
9. Passport (in case of Foreign Nationals /Wards of Persons of Indian Origin / Wards of Non Resident Indians) and affidavit that fees will be paid from a particular account till the course is completed. This affidavit could be given by spouse / brother / sister / son / daughter in the presence of Notary Public on a stamp paper.
10. Physical Fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner as per Annexure IV.
11. Documents in Support of eligibility for Dr.D.Y.Patil Merit cum-Means Scholarship mentioned in Para 13 (Applicable only for MBBS and BDS courses).

Fee Details:

Application Form can be obtained from the university office on the payment of Rs.500 /- in cash or Demand Draft.

The application should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs.2600/- or Rs.2850/-
