Competent Authority means The Controller of Examinations (CoE), Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Deemed University, Karad. The Competent Authority will supervise the conduction of KAIET, evaluation of answer sheets and declaration of results & merit list. Competent Authority will be the chairperson of the Appeal Committee for representations, queries & complaints of the candidates. The Competent Authority will issue necessary executive instructions for implementation of those rules and provide relevant information to be published and communicated.

Yenepoya University Under Graduate Entrance Test (YUUGET) is conducted by Yenepoya University, Mangalore, Karnataka.
YUUGET is an yearly exam conducted for admissions to M.B.B.S and BDS at Yenepoya University, Mangalore.
Eligibility
=> Candidates should have passed the (10+2) PU Examination in Karnataka or its equivalent examination.
=> The candidate should be of 16 years of age as on 31st December of the academic year of admission.
=> Candidates who have passed B.Sc.examinations are also eligible for admission subject to the subjects grouping as approved by the University.
=> The candidate should have secured not less than 50% aggregate in the Science subjects in the qualifying examination and a pass in English for admission to MBBS and BDS. However, in case of scheduied caste and scheduled tribe categories, the minimum aggregate is 40%.
=> The candidate has to submit, in original, the following documents : SSLC Certificate, PUC 2 Certificate and Transfer Certificate.

Eligibility Criteria
– Students should have passed Bachelor Degree in relevent subject from recognised university.
Exam Pattern
– The AIPGACET Exam is three hours duration having 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs).
– Questions will be of single best response objective type with four options.
– Each correct answer will be awarded one mark.
– There shall be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
– The Medium of Examination will be English.
– The Questions in AIPGAICET shall be based on the UG Syllabus of that particular course with equal weightage.
– If the number of applicants for the entrance is either less then or equal to intake capacity of that particular program then in that case the admission shall be given on the merit of the qualifying exam.
Selection Process
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidate taking into consideration the preference given by the candidate and availability of seat in the branch/discipline of his/her choice when it is his/her turn for counseling.

Eligibility Criteria
=> The candidate, who possesses Indian Nationality, with a proof in the form of Nationality Certificate /valid passport, is eligible to appear for AIPGMDET.
=> The candidate who has passed final MBBS examination from a recognized Medical College, included in the schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, is eligible.
=> The candidate who has obtained registration either from the MCI or from authorized State Medical Council after completing one-year compulsory rotating internship.
=> He/she will have to submit documentary evidence from the Principal/Dean of the College regarding the anticipated date of completion of internship along with the application, failing which, his/her application shall be rejected.
=> If a candidate who does not fulfill any or all the above requirements or fails to pay the fees at the time of counseling he/she will not be considered eligible for admission irrespective of his/her appearing for AIPGMDET examination & securing a rank in the merit list.
=> A NRI/PIO/FN candidate, who has passed the MBBS or equivalent examination from a College outside India, shall be eligible for the admission, provided he/she obtains registration from the Medical Council of India (MCI).
=> Candidate under this category is not required to appear for AIPGMDET. Admissions will be made on the basis of inter-se merit as determined by admission committee appointed for the purpose by the Competent Authority
