PESSAT 2021 – PESSAT 2021 is a test administered by Peoples Education Society (PES) University for admission to various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programmes for the academic year 2021-22.

About  PESSAT 2021

For the academic session 2021, PESSAT is held for admission to a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), BBA in Hotel and Event Management, Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Master of Computer Applications (MCA).

PESSAT 2021 Important Dates

For B.Tech. students (Tentative)

  • PESSAT 2021 online registrations begin on December 20, 2020.
  • Candidates from outside Bengaluru have until July 25, 2021 to register.
  • Candidates who wish to take PESSAT at the Bangalore centre only have till July 30, 2021 to register.
  • All candidates’ slot bookings will begin on July 26th, 2021.
  • PESSAT 2021 will be held from July 30th to August 20th, 2021.
    (Only for applicants whose 12th/ 2nd PU results have been declared)
  • Last date to update 12th std/ 2nd PU marks – August 22nd, 2021
  • Results of the PESSAT will be announced on August 25, 2021.
  • The first round of the PESSAT Counseling: September 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2021
  • Date by which original documents must be submitted (only for admitted students)
  • Last date for surrendering a PESSAT seat: To be determined.
  • Counseling for the second and final rounds of the PESSAT for B.Tech. :
    – Will be up-to-date
  • Beginning of the first semester of B.Tech classes:
    – Will be up-to-date

Eligibility Criteria for PESSAT 2021

Courses and Minimum Qualifications

For B.Tech

60 percent aggregate marks in Physics, Math, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, and Biotechnology from a recognised board in 10+2 or equivalent.” PESSAT (National level exam) or KCET (State level exam) scores are necessary.

For B.Des

At least 50% aggregate in 3 year diploma with English as a mandatory course OR 50% aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognised board with English as a mandatory course. PESSAT or UCEED test score

BBA,LLB/ BA,LLB – 5 year Integrated Honors Program

  • CLAT or PESSAT or LSAT-India score is mandatory.
  • 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board in any stream. In the case of general category applicants, a minimum of 45 percent (44.5 percent and above shall be treated as 45 percent) of total marks in the qualifying examination must be obtained, and in the case of SC and ST applicants, a minimum of 40 percent (39.5 percent and above shall be treated as 40 percent). PESSAT 2021 Application Process

Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can apply for the PESSAT 2021 online at www.pessat.pes.edu or https://www.pessat.com.

    Step 3 PES University Programs require you to take an online written test PESSAT. Please Register for the PESSAT Test here. www.pes.edu/pessat

    Step 4 After taking PESSAT, the candidate shall go through a short interview on the same day of the test in university campus ((for select courses only)

    Step 5 Confirmation/ Rejection and payment of fees if selected

    Step 6 Start your program/course.

PESSAT 2021 Admit Card

  • The candidates have to download the admit card from the website https://www.pessat.com/
  • Admit cards will only be released for the candidates who have submitted the application form on or before the last date. Admit card contains the important details regarding the exams like examination time, venue and instruction which candidates must follow during the examination time.

Admission Procedure

For B.Tech

  • Register and take PESSAT/ KCET/ both (if eligible) and participate through counseling to compete for a merit seat based on PESSAT/ KCET rank. Provisional blocking of seats through higher fee/management/NRI/PIO/OCI/Sponsored quota is also possible.

For B.Des

Register and take PESSAT. Interviews should be attended on the same day of the test on campus (candidate to get their creative portfolio works for added benefit). If selected, can proceed with admissions. If the candidate has taken UCEED, then he/she must register for PESSAT (mandatory) but there is no need to take the test. Candidates can directly attend the interview carrying a creative portfolio and PESSAT hall ticket.

For BBA LLB & BA LLB

Register and take PESSAT. Interviews should be attended on the same day of the test on campus. If selected, can proceed with admissions. If the candidate has a valid CLAT/ LSAT-India score, then he/she must register for PESSAT (mandatory) but there is no need to take the test. Candidates can directly attend the interview carrying the PESSAT hall ticket.
