Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) has katen for Admission to the PG Departments of the University of Jammu / Affiliated Colleges shall be made on the basis of Entrance Test and Academic Merit of Qualifying Examination. The final merit of a candidate out of 100 shall be calculated by giving a weightage of 40 i.e. marks obtained in the Entrance Test and a weightage of 60 to the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination – the 60 shall be calculated by giving the weightage of 20% each to the percentage of marks in Part I, II & III separately.
For admission to the programmes like M.P.Ed/M.Lib.I.Sc/B.A LL.B (5 year)/B.B.A (HM)/Honours Courses the weightage of 60 to the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination shall be accorded so as to calculate the academic merit of the candidate.

Eligibility Criteria
– Students should have passed Bachelor Degree in relevent subject from recognised university.
Exam Pattern
– The AIPGACET Exam is three hours duration having 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs).
– Questions will be of single best response objective type with four options.
– Each correct answer will be awarded one mark.
– There shall be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
– The Medium of Examination will be English.
– The Questions in AIPGAICET shall be based on the UG Syllabus of that particular course with equal weightage.
– If the number of applicants for the entrance is either less then or equal to intake capacity of that particular program then in that case the admission shall be given on the merit of the qualifying exam.
Selection Process
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidate taking into consideration the preference given by the candidate and availability of seat in the branch/discipline of his/her choice when it is his/her turn for counseling.

Exam Pattern
there will be a multiple choice containing 120 questions on the following subjects-
1. General English- 20 questions of level 10+2 standard based on paragraph compression, sentence correction, word power and tense etc. to test the ability of the candidate.
2. General Knowledge & Numerical Ability- 20 questions based on national & international affairs, eminent personalities to test the knowledge of the candidate.
3. Subject- 80 questions to test the basic knowledge of subject of qualifying exam
The duration of the test will be of two hours
Filling of OMR sheet:
(a) The candidate will be provided OMR answer sheet along with question booklet in the examination hall.
(b) The OMR sheet will have to be filled in by using blue or black ball pen.
Results
The RUET results will be published on the official website of Rama University, ie. www.ramauniversity.ac.in.

Eligibility Criteria
A Bachelor’s degree with minimum aggregate of 60%. Eligibility conditions such as the minimum percentage of marks/CGPA obtained by the applicant in the qualifying exam shall be as prescribed by the university from time to time.
For MBA Course:
Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any discipline are eligible to apply for SRMCAT. Students must also have a minimum aggregate of 60% marks at graduation level. Admit Card / Hall Ticket
The admit card should be downloaded from official website. The candidate should verify all the information in the admit card. If any issue is found, then get it corrected with the concerned authority.
The candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. No one would be allowed to appear for the test without a valid hall ticket. It is also very important to document for the further admission processes. It needs to be well-looked-after and produced at the time of counselling and admission.
Selection Process
The candidates are selected for MBA admissions on the basis of SRMCAT Exam 2017 conducted by SRM University.
Results
Results of SRMCAT will be announced in the month of May 2017, and counseling will start thereafter. The merit list will be uploaded on the official website.
Counselling Process
Candidates must attend the SRMCAT Counselling 2017 along with their original documents for verification. Candidates can specify their seat preferences after document verification. Seat Allotment will be on the basis of the SRMCAT Merit Rank and seat availability. They must pay the admission fee after allotment to confirm their admission.
