Job Description

Develops, documents, and maintains software system architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs.
Develops and maintains code, as well as integrating software components into a complete software system.

To guarantee that software system requirements are met, develops and performs test methods and documents test findings.
To evaluate and validate requirements, create Test Scenarios.
Create test cases and procedures for avionics software verification.
Create tests (using Python/Manual/Bash scripting) to meet high- and low-level requirements, including unit tests.
Create an integration test for software Scripts to ensure that high-level requirements are implemented correctly.

Skills

Embedded Avionics System Software Development, Validation/Verification experience ranging from 0 to 3 years.
C and C++ experience is a plus.
Python programming abilities are required.
Experience in software development, integration, and debugging in a simulated and real-world setting.
Experience with application agile development tools and processes, build and configuration management tools and processes, testing processes, automation strategies, and functional requirements specification.
Working knowledge of project/build/configuration management tools and processes (e.g. Atlassian Tool Suites).
