The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board was initially set-up as Pre Medical Test Board by Government of Madhya Pradesh in the year 1970. Later, in the year 1981, Pre Engineering Board was constituted. Soon after, in the year 1982 both these Boards were amalgamated and named as Professional Examination Board (P.E.B.). Professional Examination Board by Govt. Order No.1325-1717-42-82 dated 17.04.1982 has been assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission to various colleges in the state.
The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board is a self-financed, autonomous incorporated body of State Govt. The Government has re constituted the Board of Directors for taking decisions on policy and organizational matters through Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board Act. 2007.
The Board is a body corporate by the name of the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board and has perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire and hold property both movable and immovable and has the power to transfer any property held by it and to contract and do all other things necessary for the its constitution and may sue or sued in its corporate name.

Eligibility Criteria
MBA & Allied Courses:
A candidate seeking admission to MBA and Allied Courses should be a Graduate or post Graduate with at least 50% marks (40% in case of SC, ST, OBC category) in aggregate of any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) of institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto. The Bachelor’s degree must be of minimum three years duration after passing Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of (10+2) year system or equivalent.
MCA Course:
A candidate seeking admission to MCA Course should be a Graduate of any UGC/ AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto. The Bachelor’s degree must be of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as compulsory or an additional subject at either Higher Secondary (10+2) or at Graduation Level.
Note: Candidates in the Final year of any degree examination can also appear in the MET-2014 test/PreMCA-2014 test on provisional basis. But such a candidate shall have to produce the original certificate of having passed/mark sheet of the final year of the degree examination at the time of Counselling.

How to Apply
To apply for Vyapam candidates can apply either through offline or online mode and are required to follow below process:
Offline:
- If candidates wish to apply through offline then they have to purchase the application form at the specified bank branches.
- Candidates are required to fill the application with correct details only.
- Fill the form with blue or black ball point pen and paste the photo of the candidate in the space provided.
- After filling the form, pay the required fee through any of the payment modes.
- Now send the filled in application form and DD to the address that is “Chyan Bhavan, Main Road- 1, Chinnar Park East, Bhopal – 462011”.
Online:
- Applicants are required to first visit official website that is www.vyapam.nic.in and click on the link for an application form.
- Then fill the application form carefully without any mistakes.
- Next pay the fee through any one of the payment modes as per the choice.
- Now login to the site with login details and enter the fee details.
- Final step is to verify and submit the application form.
- Once the process is finished it is required to take the printout of filled in application form, DD and send to “Chyan Bhavan, Main Road- 1, Chinnar Park East, Bhopal – 462011”.
Exam Pattern
The Madhya Pradesh Management Entrance Test (MP MET) is conducted in the following two stages:
- Written Exam
- Group Discussion and Personal Interview respectively
Paper Pattern for Written Test:
The written test of the MP MET is an objective type test having multiple choice based questions on the following major six sections:
Section I: Business Data Interpretation: 20 Questions
Section II: Business Judgement: 20 Questions
Section III: Data Sufficiency: 20 Questions
Section IV: Numerical Ability: 50 Questions
Section V: Reading Comprehension: 30 Questions and
Section VI: Verbal and Writing Ability: 60 Questions
Total Marks Allotted: 200
Total Number of Questions: 200
Exam Duration: 2 Hours 45 Minutes
Marketing Criteria
The candidates will be given 1 mark for each correct answer marked by the candidate. There will be no negative marking in the paper hence the candidates can attempt as many number of questions as they feel like in order to score more in the exam.
Paper Pattern for Group Discussion & Personal Interview:
Marks Allotted: 50
The candidates who qualify in the written exam shall be called for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview respectively. The candidates shall be selected as per the following weightage of marks:
Written Test: 80%
Group Discussion: 10% and
Personal Interview: 10% respectively
Admit Card / Hall Ticket
The candidate should verify all the information in the admit card. If any issue is found, then get it corrected with the concerned authority.
The candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without it, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. It is also very important to document for the further admission processes.
