Jain Entrance Test Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility Criteria
Jain University invites applications for admissions to Jain Entrance Test for the academic year 2020.
Jain University will conduct the JET 2020 for various undergraduate engineering programmes on April 26. Registrations for JET 2020 have commenced from November 18, 2019 and the last date for filling the application form will be tentatively in the second week of April . Candidates must ensure that they must meet the requisite eligibility criteria before they start filling the application form of JET 2020. The admit card of JET 2020 will be available from April 20 in online mode. JET result 2020 will be announced on April 27, while seat allotment will take place after counselling.

JET 2020 Eligibility Criteria:
Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
The eligibility criteria of JET 2020 includes the subjects which they must have studied in their class XII and the minimum marks which they must score.
In order to be eligible to appear for JET 2020, candidates should have passed from any of the boards that are listed below:
• PUC
• ICSE
• CBSE
As part of JET 2020 eligibility criteria, candidates should have Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects:
• Biology
• Biotechnology
• Chemistry
• Technical vocational subject
According to JET eligibility criteria 2020, candidates belonging to different categories should have scored at least the minimum marks that are given below to be eligible to appear for JET 2020:

Fee Details:
The fee for the exam is Rs 500, irrespective of the mode you are applying in. You can pay the fee online using a credit card, debit card or netbanking. However, you will need to attach a demand draft along with the application if you are sending the application form via post.

Syllabus
The syllabus for JET 2020 will cover topics of 10+2 level of PCME (for engineering) and other subjects according to the undergraduate course chosen by applicants. The syllabus for PG programs will consist of topics covered in the respective curriculum covered during graduation. Topics are divided into two sections which are given below:

Exam Pattern
The medium of the question paper will be English only.
The question paper of JET 2020 will consist of 120 objective type questions with 5 choices for every question. The total duration of 2 hours will be provided to answer the questions.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket
The admit card will be avilable online for download. The candidate can download and print it. The hard copy of BITSAT admit card will also be sent through post. The candidate should verify all the information in the admit card. If any issue is found, then get it corrected with the concerned authority.
The candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without it, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. It is also very important to document for the further admission processes.
JET 2020 Cutoff
The JET 2020 Cutoff is the minimum required score for qualifying the exam and getting shortlisted in the final merit list of the institute. Every year, the cutoff is released by the exam authorities to shortlist candidates for the next stage or round of the admission process.
After considering various factors, namely level of difficulty in JET 2020 test, number of test takers, and number of seats, IBS Hyderabad and its other participating institutes will release JET 2020 cutoff lists for the candidates.
The Cutoff for JET 2020 will be released after the announcement of the result.
Results
The JET 2020 result will be declared by the authority on 27 Apr, 2020. It will be announced on the official website. The candidates can check their result along with answer sheet by login using their application number and Password.
Selection Process
The successful candidates who have qualified the JET 2020
Jain University will begin the selection process soon after the declaration of JET 2020 Result. It will be done on the basis of the applicants’ performance in the entrance exam.
- Qualifying candidates will be invited via email to appear for counselling process (GD/PI) at the University.
- Students should be present in-person to attend the counselling round as per the schedule uploaded by the institute.
- Aspirants will be given provisional admission based on the marks secured in the entrance test during the counselling process.
- Such individuals will be required to produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination and other documents.
