About Himalayan Institute Of Management, Kala Amb
Himalayan Institute of Management is one of the most prestigious institutes in the field of management education in the region which covers Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab Uttrakhand, and Union Territory of Chandigarh. It was established in year 2007. It is a self financing institute established and promoted by Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions. The course is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, New Delhi, and H.P. Government, and affiliated to H.P. Technical University Hamirpur. The institute is located in the most picturesque and serene environment of Himachal Pradesh at Kala Amb on Yamuna Nagar-Nahan State Highway No. 1 in sprawling campus having a well established library, a well equipped computer lab, well ventilated class rooms, canteen, lecture halls, seminar hall, separate boys & girls hostel, indoor-outdoor games facility, bus transportation facility etc. The institute uses LCD Projectors for imparting education to the students. The students are exposed to guest lectures by experts of various fields and have regular interaction with industry through industrial visits etc. Workshops on communication and personality development, seminars, group discussions, case studies etc. are regular features of the curriculum. The institute has recruited well educated, dedicated and hardworking faculty which enrich the students with knowledge in their specific fields. Extra curricular activities like cultural functions, sports activities are also held in the Institution.
