Eligibility Criteria
For Bachelor of Pharmacy: Pass in 10+2/12th examination in Science stream from a recognized central/state board or its equivalent either in 2012 or 2011 with a minimum of 60% of marks.
For Master of Pharmacy: Bachelor of Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% of marks or its equivalent grade. For further details on eligibility criteria, please visit official website.

- Applications can also be obtained from the office of the Principal, GIP on payment of Rs. 100/- in person, or can be obtained by post by sending a request along with a DD for Rs.100/- drawn in favor of GITAM Institute of Pharmacy, payable at Vishakhapatnam.
- The duly filled on application form along with the DD for Rs.600/- drawn in favor of GITAM Institute of Pharmacy, payable at Vishakhapatnam on any scheduled bank, along with the photocopies of the certificates of qualifying examinations and other relevant certificates should be sent to the Principal, GITAM /institute of Pharmacy, GITAM University, Gandhi Nagar Campus, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam – 530 045, Andhra Pradesh, India

GIPAT (UG) Test paper comprises of 100 multiple choice questions divided into 3 sections. Each correct answer carries 3 marks.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket
Hall tickets will be sent to candidates by post one week before the date of commencement of entrance test. In case of non-receipt of hall ticket on time, candidates are advised to download from Official Website or contact the office of the Principal, GITAM Institute of Pharmacy, GITAM University at Tel No. (0891) 2840551 two days before the test date.
Hall ticket should be retained carefully as it has to be produced at the time of counseling/provisional admission. Candidates are advised to refer to the instructions to the candidates furnished on the back page of the Hall Ticket. Candidates are advised to follow the same scrupulously.
Results
The candidates are also advised to download the Rank Cards from the GITAM website after publication of results.
