The Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training is an autonomous body created under the Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training Act, 1992. The Board conducts Joint Entrance Test (JET) for admissions to various diploma courses being run in the institutions affiliated to the Board.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants should be an Indian citizen.
- Applicants who passed in 10th class with 45% aggregate marks are eligible for this examination.
- Candidates who are appearing for 10th class exam they are also eligible for this course.
- They must have Mathematics, English, and Science (physics, chemistry and biology) subjects.

The Submission of Punjab JET 2020 online application form through website can be made from last week of February.

Exam Pattern
- JET-2020 will have one paper of 200 questions.
- Questions will be asked from English, General Awareness and Aptitude, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

=> To Participating in online counselling, it shall be mandatory for every candidate to register through counselling website.
=> The Admission to various diploma web based online counselling shall be followed for the academic year 2020-2021 and therefore physical presence of candidates for the councelling will not be necessary.
=> During the online Counselling, candidate shall be given opportunity to exercise choice of institutes/trade in two rounds and thereafter the vacant seats, if any, shall be filled by the institute on the criteria of admissions under management quota.
