VITEEE 2021 – The VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE 2021) will be held in the second or third week of April 2021 at Vellore Institute of Technology. VITEEE is a national level entrance exam for B.Tech admissions. VIT Vellore Campuses, Chennai Campus, VIT Bhopal Campus, and VIT AP Campuses all offer programmes.

The application form for VITEEE 2021 will be available on November 30, 2020. The page below contains all of the information about VITEEE, including significant dates, application procedures, exam details, syllabus, results, and counselling.

Details of VITEEE 2021

VITEEE-2021 is a Common Entrance Exam, and eligible applicants can choose from a variety of courses at VIT Vellore Campus, VIT Chennai Campus, VIT-Bhopal, and VIT-AP on the day of Counseling, based on their merit and availability.
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is one of India’s top ten engineering colleges; over the years, the institute has established a reputation for providing high-quality engineering education in a variety of fields.
Every year, the college holds its VITEEE entrance test, based on which students are admitted to the first year of an engineering undergraduate degree, i.e. Bachelor of Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria for VITEEE 2021

Nationality

The applicant must be an Indian national who is either a resident or a non-resident.
Foreign candidates who have studied or are studying in another country may apply directly under the foreign category.

Age Limit

Candidates born on or after July 1, 1999 are eligible to apply for the UG Engineering Admission (UGEA) 2021. The date of birth on the High School / SSC / X Certificate shall be accepted as genuine.
Candidates must present this certificate in its original form as proof of age at the time of counselling or admission, or they will be disqualified.

Qualifying Exam

Candidates enrolling for UG Engineering admission must have passed or be scheduled to take one of the following qualifying examinations in 2021:
The State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), and the Council for Indian School Certificate Exam (ISCE), New Delhi, administered the final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Exam.
Intermediate
Geneva General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level, Cambridge University High School Certificate Exam or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level
Regular ‘NIOS’ board applicants are also qualified for Undergraduate Engineering programmes, according to VIT Norms.
They should also provide the marks secured in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Total (including all subjects) and upload the scanned copy of the mark list in the application form

Eligibility Criteria for the Qualifying Exam

Candidates applying for Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2021 must have scored a minimum of 60% on the qualifying test (+2/Intermediate) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
For the following disciplines, the average marks received in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) should be a minimum aggregate of 50%.
Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura are among the candidates from Jammu and Kashmir/Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura. They must present a CERTIFICATE TO PROVE COMMUNITY / NATIVITY at the time of counselling, otherwise they will not be considered for admittance.

Subject Eligibility

Candidates having studied Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry in +2 / Higher Secondary Board are eligible for all the B.Tech. Programmes

Candidates having studied Biology/Physics/Chemistry in +2/ Higher Secondary Board are eligible for the following Bio stream programs only. Upon joining, the students need to mandatorily register for a bridge course in Mathematics

i. B.Tech. Bio-engineering(VIT-Bhopal)

ii. B.Tech. Biotechnology(VIT, Vellore)

iii. B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering with specialisation in Bioinformatics (VIT, Vellore)

VITEEE 2021 Application Process

Candidates who are interested and eligible can apply both online and offline. If you are applying online, you must first visit the Vellore Institute of Technology’s official website, www.vit.ac.in.

Online Application Forms

Cost of the Application – Rs.1250/- (inclusive of GST). Get ready with the following to submit the online form:

Softcopy (scanned copy) of recently taken passport size colour photograph with 10kb – 200kb (Dimensions – 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) / Softcopy (scanned copy) of Signature of the Candidate with 10kb? 200kb (Dimensions – 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm) in JPG / JPEG format
Selfie photos will not be accepted. Also a scanned copy of Aadhar Card/proof of enrolment ID for Aadhar Card is to be submitted.
Online mode (Net banking / Debit card / Credit card) – Do not send a hardcopy of the application form after the process of completion

Candidates can pay the application fee for VITEEE 2021 by any online or offline method.
The application fee for online applications will be Rs.1150/-, while the fee for offline applications will be Rs.1250/-.
