Job Description:

Working with a team of bright and experienced developers to construct high-performance, low-latency, and highly scalable Java-based services is a big part of this job. You will be involved in the following activities in this position:

Assisting with the creation of new and scalable Java-based capabilities to improve the Consumer Data Management service offerings while maintaining high coding standards.
Working directly with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and other developers to identify features and user stories that have a significant impact on the business and enhance the customer experience.
Working as part of a co-located Agile SCRUM team to fulfil deadlines while also working through and providing solutions to developing difficulties.
Alternative technology solutions are being investigated in order to suit changing business requirements.

All About You:

Strong programming skills in Java, micro-service development and Junits.
Knowledge of Spring Cloud, Spring Boot, Tomcat.
Exposure to both SQL and NoSQL persistence technologies, e.g. MongoDB, Redis preferable.
Knowledge of software development test approaches & frameworks: ATDD/BDD, Unit tests, Cucumber, Spock.
Command of CI/CD principles and tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Chef.
Experience working with cloud hosting technologies such as PCF, Azure an advantage.
Full stack engineering experience with Angular an advantage.
Exposure to Splunk, Dynatrace or other monitoring solutions an advantage.
