Job Description:
Engineering is at the heart of everything we do at Gojek: it’s how we bring our ideas to life and into the lives of our consumers. As an associate software engineer on the Engineering platform, you’ll be in charge of developing scalable PaaS services aimed at improving engineering experience across Gojek’s many product groups.

You’ll play a key role in the creation of distributed system abstraction services, tools, and platforms. You’ll apply your expertise to create careful components and construct tools that will enable hundreds of developers around the firm to create frameworks and scalable solutions that make using Gojek a joy for our users all over the world.

Job Responsibilities:-

Creating distributed systems that are highly scalable, dependable, and fault resilient
Improve code quality, product execution, and customer satisfaction on a continuous basis.
In a global setting, efficiently communicate, cooperate, and work across distant teams.
Use their knowledge base to strengthen teams across their product.
Contribute to the improvement of team cohesion and the development of a culture of friendship.
Refactor applications on a regular basis to ensure high-quality design.
Collaborate with team members on functional and nonfunctional needs, and disseminate design philosophy and goals throughout the organisation.

Job Requirements:-

One year of related experience is required. Building apps from the ground up in any object-oriented or functional programming language, such as Java, Golang, Clojure, Python, Ruby, and others.
Fundamental knowledge of distributed systems, Linux, container technologies, TCP/IP stack, internet routing, and load balancing
Kubernetes and other cluster orchestrators and schedulers require a basic grasp.
Understanding and putting Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery into practise
Has a fundamental understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful services, and has preferably worked on distributed systems in production.
