Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant work experience required: from 0 to 3 years of product design expertise. An added advantage will be the design and development of state-of-the-art power systems such as cellular fuel power sources, storage systems, hydrogen fuel systems, hybrids, EV and validation tests.
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks

Job Responsibilities
- Design and development of advanced power system and components in order to achieve functional, reliable and long-term objectives
- Perform design calculations, start ideas, DFMEA and support for new product introduction programmes (NPI) and the validation plan
- Participate with stakeholder design reviews
- Understand the technical requirements and talk to the supplier about component development
- Communicating results in a concise and accurate way Work with a production plant to ensure design to ensure production capabilities customers, suppliers, team members and other cross-functional teams
- Provide quality technical support, part development procurement
- Work with SME and process partners on understanding and documenting the requirements
- Need to manage groups of suppliers, production & products
Skills
- Exceptional ability to perform complex analysis tasks using FEA (preferred with Creo simulate)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Self-starter with strong project management skills
- Enjoys working in a fast paced, technically challenging environment
- Willingness to travel domestic/international up to 10% when job role requires
- 6 Sigma yellow Belt certification
- Development, maintenance and implementation of a project management plan – Strong project management skills. Ability to build and leverage a global engineering resource network.
