- BE/ B.Tech – Computers/ Electrical Engineering
- 0-2 years’ relevant work experience in DSP in audio and speech signal processing.
Job Description :
- For Tensilica’s programmable embedded processors, this position needs the creation of optimal audio codecs and audio processing programmes.
- Using C level adjustments and C instrinsics, developing and optimising the performance of audio processing firmware.
- Adding additional features, ports, and processor configurations to the audio firmware.
- Engineers and customers will benefit from the documentation of the implementation.
- Interacting with internal and external customer engineering teams, as well as partners, to resolve various audio difficulties.

Job Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise designing and optimising DSP applications in C and assembly language for a DSP or DSP-like processor, as well as a solid understanding of software performance tuning challenges.
- The candidate should have worked with at least one revision control system and should be familiar with the principles of excellent software and interface design (for example, abstraction and encapsulation).
- It is necessary to be familiar with audio/speech processing and standards (e.g., MPEG, Dolby, DTS, G.7xx, etc.).
- It is necessary to have excellent technical communication abilities. Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work individually as well as in a group.
- 0-2 years’ relevant work experience in DSP in audio and speech signal processing.
- Educational qualification: BE/BS in CS or EE is required, MTech/MS is preferred.
